Many of today;’s superheroes are based off of this idea that people have a side of them that is more animalistic. Stronger, faster, better. These are all taking the promising qualities of Hyde, such as his strength and aggression, and adding the ability to have morals and use these talents for good. These movies take people’s dark sides and use them to defeat a greater evil.
